PROFESSIONALISM

By hiring CHOATE AUCTION SERVICE to conduct your sale, you will get professional service, friendly staff and the biggest value for your dollar.  

Each auction is fully staffed with a minimum of one auctioneer (Bryan) although we generally have two, 2 ringmen, a ticket writer and a clerk.  For larger sales, we do have more trained staff available and ready to assist in your sale.  The Choate Auction Service Staff consists of educated and professional individuals.  These individuals are trustworthy and knowledgeable.  They are also trained to setup an auction in a very professional, eye appealing fashion which enables the buyers to preview the merchandise prior to the sale and during the sale.  

We use top of the line auction software and equipment which streamlines all aspects of the auction from start to finish.  The buyers are registered via the computer before the sale, the bids are input into the computer during the sale, the buyer receives a computer generated invoice when he/she checks out and you will receive a computer printout of each item sold and the bid price when you receive your proceeds check after the sale.

ESTABLISHED CUSTOMER DATA BASE

With years of auction experience, CHOATE AUCTION SERVICE has a fantastic following of customers.  We have a unique way of bring buyers and sellers together that pleases both parties.  We stay in touch with our customers via email, regular mail and personal phone calls.  We are continually soliciting new customers for upcoming sales.  We use target marketed solicitation for each sale.  Ex: For a restaurant liquidation sale, we will solicit used restaurant equipment dealers and restaurants from Oklahoma City to Dallas/Ft Worth and every area in between. For really unique or specialty items we have been known to bring in customers from as far away as
California, New Mexico, Missouri, Kansas etc. 
We don't limit our solicitation therefore....we don't limit your selection of buyers! 

ADVERTISING

When we have your signed contract, your auction information goes on our website to notify potential buyers of an upcoming sale. As the auction date nears, we will post pictures of your items on our website along with descriptions of most of the items.  We will advertise your sale via the newspaper in the local area of the sale and the closest metro newspaper if in a small town.   We will also utilize our data base and target marketing as outlined above to attract customers to your particular sale.

WE KEEP IT SIMPLE

With the exception of government sales, real estate or very unique sales, we do NOT charge a buyer's premium.  We would rather the buyers focus their time on the quality of items for sale rather than how much more they will be paying when sales tax and buyer's premiums are added.   Our customers have repeatedly told us they will not attend an auction that has a buyer's premium or that they will pay less because they don't want to have to figure out the additional charges.  By not charging a buyer's premium, we feel we do not limit the number of buyer's willing to come to your sale and in return they pay the fairest price.
