Every auction is staffed with a ticket writer, a clerk, a cashier, two ringmen, and Bryan
as auctioneer. For larger sales, we have additional auctioneers and trained staff available.
The Choate Auction Service staff consists of experienced individuals who are educated and
knowledgeable. All of our auctions are organized in an appealing and effective manner
which enables buyers to preview the merchandise prior to and during the sale.
Our software streamlines all aspects of the auction from start to finish. Buyers register before
the sale, the bids are input during the sale, and the buyer receives an invoice when they check out.
As a seller, you will receive a copy of each item sold and the bid price with your proceeds check.

With over 45 years of auction experience, CHOATE AUCTION SERVICE has a fantastic following
of many customers. We are continually finding new clientele and keeping in touch with previous
buyers for upcoming sales via targeted marketing solutions. Ex: For a restaurant liquidation sale,
we will solicit used restaurant equipment dealers and restaurants from Oklahoma City to
Dallas/Ft. Worth and every area in between. For really unique or specialty items, we have been
known to bring in customers from as far away as California, New Mexico, Missouri, Kansas, and more.
Once we have your signed contract, your auction information will go on our website to notify potential
buyers of an upcoming sale. As the auction date nears, our website will be updated with photos and
descriptions of your items. We will advertise your sale via the local newspaper, or the closest metro
newspaper if in a small town. We will also utilize our database and target marketing as outlined
above to attract customers to your particular sale.
WE KEEP IT SIMPLE
With the exception of absentee bidding, government sales, real estate, or very unique sales,
we do NOT charge a buyer's premium. We would rather the buyers focus their time on the quality
of items for sale, rather than how much more they will be paying when sales tax and buyer's premiums
are added. By not charging a buyer's premium, we feel that we don't limit the number of buyer's willing
to come to your sale, and in return they will pay the fairest price.
